Hi, how are you today? This is just a test to find out how good your imagination is and how good you can concentrate... In a moment, I am going to ask you to imagine something and then, suggest that certain things will happen to your hands ... What ever happens, do not help it, or resist it… Just let things happen all by themselves... Now!.. Extend your hands to a shoulder level... Turn the palm of your left hand horizontally, facing up to the ceiling, and your right hand vertically so that the thumb is pointing up (demonstrate to client) ... close your eyes and let your imagination take over... Imagine that you have a heavy Phone book in your left hand (touch client's hand) and that a string is attached to the thumb of your right hand (touch)… A very big balloon is attached to the string, and it is slowly getting inflated by light helium gas.. The balloon starts moving upward by this light gas and is pulling your right hand up, and on the mean time the heavy phone book is pushing your left hand down.... The balloon is pulling your hand up... (touch) up... up… And left hand is getting heavier and heavier, going down... (touch) down... down… Right hand lighter and lighter.. up, up, up... Left hand going down... Right hand up, up, higher and higher …. Now open your eyes and look at your hands. Lower them down and relax.
